Orders

Guests order from their phones. Staff see it instantly. No shouting across the room, no lost slips, no "sorry, I'll be right with you." The whole order flow — from scan to kitchen to table — in one place.

New orders land in the queue within milliseconds of being placed. No polling, no refresh, no delay between a guest tapping “Submit” and your staff seeing it.

Add, review, submit — done

Guests order from their phones. No app, no account, no learning curve. Just the menu, a cart, and a button.

01

A cart that survives anything

Refresh the page. Close the tab. Come back ten minutes later. The order is still there.

Guests build their order by tapping items — a confirmation toast pops up with a thumbnail and a shortcut to checkout. Once submitted, their order token is encoded in the URL, so the live status view survives page refreshes, tab switches, and the accidental back-button tap. Their order isn't going anywhere.

  • Persistent order token
  • Survives page refresh
  • Add items in rounds
  • Live status in-page
  • No account needed
02

Live order status, no refresh

Every status change a staff member makes appears instantly on the guest's screen.

The order drawer shows three live tabs — Cart, Ordered, and Received. When staff mark an item as delivered or cancelled, that change propagates to the guest's view in real time. Guests watch their order move through the kitchen without refreshing.

03

Order in rounds

First drinks, then mains, then dessert. One table, one running tab.

Guests can add more items after their first submission — each round is appended to the same order, so staff see a single consolidated view per table rather than a pile of separate tickets for the same group.

Your whole order queue in one view

New orders appear the moment guests submit them. No yelling to the kitchen, no paper slips lost under the counter.

04

Open Orders queue

Every order that needs attention, right there, updating live.

The Open Orders queue is a live, real-time list. Each card shows the order number, table alias, time opened, running total, and inline waiter call status — all the context a staff member needs without clicking into a sub-page. Colour-coded item status icons (pending, delivered, cancelled) let staff scan a card and know exactly what still needs doing.

  • Live queue, no refresh
  • Table + order context
  • Per-item status toggles
  • Inline waiter call action
  • Completed orders archived
05

Create orders manually

Walk-ins, phone orders, tableside — covered.

Not every order starts on a guest's phone. Staff can create orders manually from the dashboard — select a table, search and add items, review the running total in the summary panel, then submit. The order lands in the Open queue immediately alongside any guest-placed ones.

06

Edit open orders

Guest forgot to add a side? No problem.

Staff can add items to any in-progress order directly from the dashboard. The edit form opens pre-populated with the existing order; new items appear in the live summary panel alongside current delivery-status toggles so nothing gets missed.

Scan. Tap. Done.

The order flow your guests never had to think about.

No paper slips. No shouting. No “sorry, I’ll be right with you.” Just orders, moving fast.
